| 1. What is In-Store Pickup, how does it work? |
| ComputerDirectOutlet.com now offers in-store pickup! Simply visit our website, select the items you wish to purchase, checkout through the Shopping Cart as normal, then select Local Pickup – In-store Customer Pickup as the shipping option (charges $0 for shipping). Then make payment using your credit card or PayPal account through the PayPal payment portal as usual.
Once you have completed your online purchase, your item will not be ready for pickup until you receive the second of 2 e-mails. The 1st e-mail confirms your purchase and that your payment was approved. The second e-mail confirms that the item or items you purchased have been verified as being ready for pickup. When the second e-mail is sent, your payment will be charged and your order will be ready for pickup. If you don’t receive a second e-mail within 30 minutes, you may call our store to verify that your order is ready. Call (864) 288-8680 and select 4 for Sales, then ask them to check if the order you just placed online is ready for pickup.
When you’ve received confirmation that your order is ready, bring a copy of your confirmation e-mail and identification to a cashier or sales person in our store and they will get your order for you. |

| 2. Can I pay for special orders without coming in to the store? |
| Yes, there are two instances when you may opt to use the Special Order Part Payment service on our website: 1) when paying for an item you would like CDO to special order for you –or– 2) when paying for an item needed for the repair of a device checked in to our Tech Repair Shop. You are always welcome to come in and make payment in our store, but sometimes you might prefer the convenience of making an online payment.
To use this service, begin at our website, ComputerDirectOutlet.com. Click on the Computer Parts icon at the top of the homepage. Then click the red special order parts link found in the text of the 5th bullet in the list there. That takes you to the Special Order Parts page. In the 1st blank, enter the cost of the part, including cents (i.e. $29.99 without tax – tax will automatically be added). Then enter the phone number that CDO uses as your account number or that you would like CDO to use as your account number. Next describe the part you are paying for (i.e. “laptop motherboard” or “front LCD bezel”). Choose In-store Repair, Pick up at CDO, or Shipped to me depending on the circumstances. Finally, include the Sales Order Number for payments on parts for repairs that have already been checked into the CDO Tech Shop. Click Continue to continue.
You are now at My Account Information. Here you can choose to do one of the following: 1) log into your existing CDO online account using your e-mail address and password, 2) process the order as a guest by filling in the info for Name, Address and Contact and not creating an online Customer Account or 3) create a new Customer Account for use on our website by filling in the info for Name, Address and Contact then clicking Yes please, create an account for me, under Create an Account. If you opt not to create an account, and you don’t use an existing account, your personal data will not be saved for future orders. Then click Continue.
The next screen is Your Details. Here you have the opportunity to edit your shipping and billing address and edit the product you plan to pay for. Choose Local Pickup – In-store Customer Pickup for items that will be picked up at CDO. If you would like the item(s) to be shipped to your shipping address, then choose the desired shipping method. Then click Continue.
You are now at the Order Confirmation page. Here you have one last chance to edit information about your order. If no edits are needed, then choose Confirm Order.
You will now be directed to log into PayPal’s secure website to make payment with a credit card or via a PayPal account. Here you may: 1) make a payment as a Guest without creating or using a PayPal account, 2) make a payment through your existing PayPal account, or 3) create a new PayPal account and use it to make your payment. |
